Rex L Chisholm, Ph.D. is Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Education at Northwestern University. A primary goal of his work is to establish the approaches and benefits of genomics informed personalized medicine. A key element of this is participation in the eMERGE consortium, where he serves as the Steering Committee Chair. His group is also interested in genome informatics, particularly genome annotation and visualization technology.
Laura Rasmussen-Torvik, Ph.D.
Laura Rasmussen-Torvik, Ph.D., is a genetic epidemiologist interested in the identification of genetic risk factors for chronic diseases and the implementation of genomics into clinical care. She is also interested in the use of electronic health records in clinical and epidemiological research.
Elizabeth M McNally, MD, Ph.D.
Elizabeth M McNally, MD, Ph.D., is the Director of the Center for Genetic Medicine at Northwestern University. As a physician and scientist, she is keenly interested in bringing the benefits of research discovery to the practice of medicine. She is a human geneticist and cardiologist. Her clinical and research interests are in the genetics of cardiovascular and neuromuscular disorders.
